What is MoveAmigo?

We are a platform that connects you with drivers and movers for your transport, logistics and moving needs.

Are you for real?

Yes, we are a registered business under the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).

Why MoveAmigo?

Unlike our competitors, MoveAmigo is not an open platform with thousands of service providers. MoveAmigo only partners with a select group of service providers that are legally registered moving companies and have positive consumer reviews, ensuring service and quality excellence.

How do I make a booking?

Begin by typing in your pick up and drop off location, and follow the steps, selecting the service you require. Along the way, you will be able to add additional stops, packing boxes, special items and more before completing the order in the final step by keying in your contact information and clicking "confirm".

What vehicle do I need?

The vehicles we have available have its internal cargo area dimensions stated on the website. You can base the dimensions with the items and goods you require to be transported and choose the right one. If in doubt, you may contact us and/or send a picture of the items you need to move and we can suggest which vehicle you require.

Do you provide free boxes?

Yes we do, in the steps while making the booking, there is an option to select how many boxes you require. Boxes are $5 each but can be fully refunded if you book a Lorry Moving Package or partially refunded if you book a Cargo Van Moving Package. Non-refundable boxes are also available for other services upon request.

Can I add multiple stops?

Yes, in the steps while while making the booking, there is also an option to add additional stops along the way.

How does the hourly rate work?

If you selected an Hourly Rate, the hourly rate begins when our team arrives and ends when the job is completed and payment is made. Once one hour has exceeded, the price will be pro-rated per minute. We also have Flexi Packages & Moving Packages which do not have an hourly rate, and are instead charged based on per total vehicle load instead.

What types of payments do you accept?

Currently, we only accept cash payments.

What is your operating hours?

Bookings can be made online at any time. Operations are from 8AM to 8PM, however should you require bookings at other timings, you can contact us and we can do our best to accomodate.

I have made a booking, what now?

Once you have made the booking, you should receive your details in the email address that you keyed in. If you did not receive the email, check the spam folder, or contact us if it isn’t there. Once we have assigned a moving team, we will notify you via WhatsApp, SMS or E-Mail.

Am I able to cancel/modify the booking?

Yes, however you need to notify us atleast 24-hours before the scheduled job. There is a 50% cancellation charge or 25% reschedule charge should you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of original schedule. You can notify us via SMS, WhatsApp or Email by letting us know your order number and request or if urgent, you may also call us instead. Click on our contact page for contact details.
